LCV Filling Posts for CNG & Gas Infrastructure Projects
Natural CNG Fitment Pvt Ltd is one of the trusted LCV filling post manufacturers in India. We supply and install CNG LCV filling posts and CBG LCV filling posts for daughter booster stations, virtual pipeline setups, industrial gas users, and captive fleet operators. Our filling posts connect directly to mobile CNG cascades and dispense compressed gas to LCVs, MGVs, and other CNG vehicles. We are based in Delhi NCR and serve buyers across India and worldwide. Our team has worked in the CNG industry since 1998. We hold PESO approval and comply with ISO 15500 and BIS standards.
What is an LCV Filling Post?
An LCV filling post is a compact CNG dispensing unit designed for light commercial vehicles and other CNG-run vehicles. It receives compressed gas from a cascade storage bank and dispenses it to vehicles at controlled pressure and flow.
LCV filling posts are the backbone of virtual pipeline setups. Mobile cascades bring gas from a mother station to remote or industrial locations. The filling post then delivers this gas to vehicles or on-site equipment. This gives you a working CNG fuelling point without needing a full CNG filling station.
As one of the leading CBG LCV filling post suppliers in Delhi NCR, we build these units for both natural gas and Bio CNG applications.
Main Components of an LCV Filling Post
Dispensing Unit: The main filling nozzle and metering system that delivers gas to the vehicle.
Pressure Regulator: Steps down cascade pressure to the level needed by the vehicle's CNG cylinder.
Priority Panel: Controls which cascade bank fills the vehicle first, ensuring maximum gas transfer.
High-Pressure Piping: Stainless Steel 316 (ASTM A269), Sandvik-make tubing that connects the cascade to the dispenser.
Isolation and Safety Valves: Cut off gas flow during maintenance or emergencies.
Emergency Shut-Off System: Automatic shut-off if pressure or flow abnormalities are detected.
Control Panel: Monitors pressure, flow, and safety parameters across the filling post.
Grounding and Bonding: Protects against static discharge during filling.
How does an LCV Filling Post Work?
Step 1: Gas Supply from Cascade
The filling post connects to a stationary or mobile CNG cascade. Gas flows from the cascade to the dispensing unit through the priority panel.
Step 2: Pressure Regulation
The pressure regulator drops cascade pressure (up to 300 bar) to the vehicle's fill pressure (200 to 250 bar).
Step 3: Metered Dispensing
The vehicle connects to the filling nozzle. Metering equipment tracks the gas volume delivered.
Step 4: Safety Monitoring
Pressure, flow, and leak sensors monitor the entire process. Any abnormality triggers the shut-off system.
Step 5: Disconnect and Complete
Once the vehicle tank is full, the system stops flow, and the operator disconnects the nozzle.
